Together with Carbon, a leading company in liquid-phase-based additive manufacturing, the LKT operates the Center for “Advanced Design and Development”, which was established on the LKT premises in Erlangen in 2023. The aim of this “Industry on Campus” cooperation is to intensify research in the field of liquid-phase-based additive manufacturing at the LKT, particularly with regard to material developments, and to strengthen cooperation between research and industry, which will also give regional companies access to the technology.
