Great insights into additive manufacturing at FIT
Together with scientific employees from LKT and students of polymer engineering, we recently visited the company FIT AG in Parsberg. In addition to an introduction to the company’s wide range of application fields, we were given a highly engaging and comprehensive tour of the production facilities. Particularly impressive were the insights into additive manufacturing with polymers, metals, and wood, as well as into quality assurance and hybrid processes combining additive technologies with established methods such as injection molding. It was great to see how multifaceted additive manufacturing can be!
We would like to sincerely thank FIT and Fabian Grupp for the practical insights into an innovative Bavarian company. The visit not only provided valuable impulses for our research but also opened up important contacts and perspectives for our students.
