REHAU Preis Technik 2025
We are happy to announce that our scientific assistant Anke Kaufmann has been awarded the REHAU Preis Technik by REHAU group for her master’s thesis.
Anke Kaufmann’s work focused on an interdisciplinary topic from the fields of medical technology and additive manufacturing of polymers, which deals with the interaction of material properties and process parameters in laser sintering of medically usable material systems. The combination of thermoplastics and hydrogel formers was addressed for later use as synthetic cartilage replacement.
The REHAU Technology Award underscores the high level of innovation and public interest in this topic, which we will continue to pursue at LKT.
