Student excursion to Brose
What does industrial injection molding actually look like in practice?
We found answers during our excursion to Brose in Coburg! The LKT organized an insightful company visit for students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on plastics engineering, to one of the leading automotive suppliers.
During a detailed tour, we were given exciting insights into the production halls. A highlight was the injection molding area – a great opportunity to see the theoretical content from our lectures applied on an industrial scale. Two presentations on the topic of sustainability in polymer technology rounded off the program and gave us plenty of food for thought.
