Innovation Day for SMEs
We took part in the Innovation Day (#innotag2025) for SMEs organized by the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie!
We presented research results on the indirect additive manufacturing of metal components in filament-based additive manufacturing for various applications in plastic injection molding. These results are part of the project “HiFil3D – Metal Filament Modeling – Feedstocks with tool steels for 3D printing”, which was funded by the BMWE and carried out in cooperation with Kurz Kunststoffe GmbH. Thomas Forstner, together with Jochen Merz and Marc Kurz from Kurz Kunststoffe GmbH, presented central process innovations, demonstrators and potentials of indirect additive manufacturing of metal components.
