Recently, we organized an exciting company visit for students from the LKT to Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth.
During the visit, we gained valuable insights into industrial 3D printing in aerospace applications, helicopter manufacturing, and the processing of composite materials, including the corresponding testing procedures. Particularly impressive were the tours through the aircraft door production and the final assembly of various helicopters. The day was rounded off with a highly interesting presentation on rotor technology and the evolution of rotor systems over time.
