How do you turn a simple idea into a 3D-printed object?

Last week, during the Girls and Technology Internship at FAU, pupils from grades 7 to 11 had the opportunity to explore this question – in an introductory course on processing polymers in additive manufacturing using fused filament fabrication (FFF). The program offered both a theoretical introduction and a hands-on session where pupils could create and scan their own figures for 3D printing.

Thank you to all the participants – your curiosity and creativity made this event a success!
